At 14,000 feet up, Hampta Pass is like two different worlds stuck together. On one side, you'll find Kullu Valley, full of green trees and bright flowers growing everywhere. But walk a few steps forward to Lahaul, and suddenly there's nothing but empty, rocky mountains as far as you can see.Stand at the top, and it's like someone drew a line where these two worlds meet. One minute you're in a green paradise, the next you're looking at bare mountains. It happens so fast, it feels like magic.
